DAY 5 - VIDEO PRESENTATION & BLOGSPOT

Last day for MA106, as a requirement of the course we are ask to submit a final video presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint and converting it afterwards to full length video. At this moment I want to acknowledge our team for contributing time and effort for preparing our agency's Ad. Thanks to Engr. Dann Sumaguila  & Engr. John bernard Zerda for setting the right timing / inserting audio and slides.  Cheers!

For 2  weeks, I have completed my 5 day blog with respect to our course MA 106 - Computer and Internet Application in Research.Well done mates from different course and Government agencies. For a span of 5 meeting I have Grasp sufficient information and tutorials.

DAY 4 - ADOBE PHOTOSHOP & INDESIGN

4th Day, Last day before last meeting, MA 106 continues to interest the class. Without a fail, there's handful of new techniques for the Photoshop user and to the new users.

We're ask to bring images with uniform background from previous meeting. I've been using Adobe Photoshop using simple command for awhile for my architectural presentations & proposal. I was thinking right before the class starts, the discussion  will be about layering image.

 What interest me the most is the proper steps to layering image, and how to refine  the raw output from my native file to manageable png. format file. for presentation. Thanks to our Professor R.E Roperos for the enlightenment.

The Exercise for Adobe Photoshop editing were used for Adobe InDesign as Cover page in preparation for the magazine like layout in InDesign. Both software is beneficial , for it serves a tool for advertising and image enhancement with respect to my practice, Thumbs up  for the tutorial.

DAY 3 - WONDERSHARE & VIDEO PRESENTATION

3rd day for Computer and Internet application in research. The Class took lessons and tutorial for Wondershare in the dayspring, I find this application essential for every person in the room completing the course. For it will be handy making test for applicants, likewise for education professionals to prepare quizzes or exams. to conserve time and avoid students from corrupting each answers.




The interface was quite friendly, the setting in the menu tab are accessible and easy to modify.Though using Wondershare will need users to oftenly practice preparing it to familiarize all the techniques for users to get the maximum capability.

It was 2'ish when MA 106 resume the meeting, the class we're supposed to make short video clip using Microsoft Powerpoint INDIVIDUALLY, (facepalm) I need to be resourceful right away my mates already half done. I hastily double tap chrome browser to grab few portfolio photos from my site http://architectgelotupas.wix.com/aart.

half done when I realise the clip should have a background track while playing.  Frenzying, I inserted ramdom song from windows default playlist which resulted to whimsical presentation. Turns out,
the song I inserted sounds like a track from a kiddie party melody, the class burst laughter afterwards. =)

DAY 2 - MICROSOFT EXCEL & POWERPOINT

2nd day of MA 106 and my first day in Saint Joseph Institute Technology's Computer Room, I discerned numbers of desktop computer without CPU. Right then, I said to myself we're using one server for all computers.

I took a chair and flop beside my mates from my office (Engr. Zerda, Sumaguila and my common friend from DPWH Engr. Castro).I was 30 mins. behind time, Carefully  reach for a chair and the attendance sheet in ninja style.I was just in time for our pre-test for the class, Professor R.E Roperos gave us our passwords for wondershare application. Immediately took the test and got 69 out of 100 questions. Generally,no one failed the test, not bad.

First activity that dayspring was excel techniques. We're given 8 exercises to be completed by following step by step procedure. luckily i have only completed 3 that day. Professor R.E  Roperos taught handful of shortcuts that are handy for office work practices in preparing excel. And demonstrated it thru projector whenever we throw query on some shortcuts.

The Class Resumes at 1'ish in the afternoon while others still chitchatting we're busy doing the Excel exercise.

Next activity was Microsoft Powerpoint. It was interesting, while majority of the class knows already the software. We in the front row were eager to snatch few of Professor Roperos techniques to hasten the software preparation.
